Steve has been at Galaxy for so long now he's actually part of the furniture and has been presenting the Breakfast Show since day 1 in June 1999.

Without becoming too emotional and cheesey; Steve describes himself as the 'luckiest man in the world' for presenting the show, and loves hearing the great funny stories that get phoned in.

Best Radio Show: I’m James Barr’s biggest fan!

Favourite Place to Eat: Sambuca’s, North Shields Fish Quay.

Biggest holiday disappointment: Miami, very unfriendly. And I love America.

Most expensive mobile bill: £351.43 (normally its no more than £43)

Funny people I know: Karen always makes me laugh, and my mate Tomaz.

Worst DVD at home: It has to be Three, that awful film that had Kelly Brook in.

Ever dressed up: As a woman once with tights and bra, and a Christmas Tree.

Best time of year: The winter.  I love getting wrapped up all snuggly.

Nice things I’ve been told: My mate Ray said I make the best sandwiches he’s ever had in his life.
