Steve and Karens World Cup Super Group - Over the course of 3 months, the breakfast team asked listeners to apply to part of a 'band.' They then took them to Gateshead college to record a song and shoot a video all in time to release it online free before the world cup. The team had to try and beat the number 1 single based on digital downloads for the W/C 31st May

May
Stylehunt - Galaxy were on the hunt for the most fashionable girls across the country. Girls applied and then went through an elimination process which was held online. Listeners had to vote for the girl they wanted to remove. The winner got £5000 and a trip to New York
