In the late seventeenth century, women with red hair were executed for Witchcraft. Hundreds of years later and the persecution continues. I'm a member of the worlds least acknowledged minority group and in my opinion, shouting 'carrot top' is as offensive as being racist or homophobic. Only recently a family from Newcastle were forced to move because of this kind of victimisation.

Hiya James, I have Ginger hair and i'm proud of it.  One of my friends has 5 kids and they are all ginger but she's ashamed of it she keeps saying that they're strawberry blonde, what a load of rubbish.   I read an article on the internet a while ago that said Ginger people need to get together and have more ginger babies because the population is dying out.  So come on Gingers get together & start making more ginger babies, keep the Ginger population going x

I think ginger hair is lush. I personally don't have ginger hair but I wouldn't be one bit bothered.. And to all the sad acts being nasty about red heads - Your pathetic and jealous coz they get more attention then you's x

I have ginger hair! But all my friends act as if they are warming their hands on my head, like a fire.

My wife has very long red hair, pale skin, freckles and she's "Red-Hot"!
My dad made me watch "The Quiet Man", the old film with some bloke and the amazingly sizzling and feisty Maureen O'Hara, I've been hooked on red's ever since.

There's nothing wrong with red heads,my girlfriend is ginger & i have never been more attracted to someone in my life, red heads & gingers should hold there heads high & be proud!

Gingers are soo cool, i would love to be a ginger for the day, can you imagine the fun you would have! And if any gingers feel sad or ashamed they should take a step back, look at their ginger locks and thing "wow how sexy am i"  :)

MMMMM i like Bradley and Max Branning in eastenders there nice looking with their ginger hair - I've seen some really good looking lads with ginger hair when I've been out on the toon too.
